April 20th Workday & Electronics Recycling Drive

Farm Day 10am – 12pm

Electronics Drive from 9am-1pm

Recycle your electronics at Cunningham on Saturday, April 20th  between 9am-1pm, and help make money for the school. Families and other community members are encouraged to drop off their unwanted computers, laptops, monitors, printers, cellphones, etc. for the benefit of the schools.  WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS EVENT! Call 413-6231 if you can help!

April 6th Workday – Seed harvesting, sowing, planting & more!

April 6th 10am-12pm

Looks like it should be a good time to get our tomato & pepper transplants in. We will be planting squash and other early summer crops and harvesting seeds from lettuce, arugula, broccoli, parsley, and whatever else has seeds. Feel free to bring envelopes to take home a personal supply.

Welcome all Fittest Family Contest Families,
In addition to the normal stuff above, PEAS Farm invites you to bring a vegetable or fruit transplant to add to the farm in honor of your family or a specific family member. Please bring a marker to put in the ground next to it with your family’s name on it and any words you would like to add. Since this is a community farm, the fruits of these plants will become part of the open harvest for the community. If you are not currently a farm member you are welcome to come back and check on your plant(s) and harvest from them (but we would love for you to join us as a member!).
Transplants that should do well are:
Vegetables: Eggplant, Peppers, Squashes (summer or winter), Sweet Potato Slips, Tomatillo, Tomato, Cucumbers
Fruits: Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Watermelon.

Winter Break

The next Farm Day is Saturday, January 19th. In the meantime, members are welcome to stop by and harvest your own lettuce, spinach, arugula, and anything else that looks like it should be harvested.

If you have any questions, feel free to call 413-6231.
